Roos “Bounce” Back

The Barkeroos “Bounced” back into the top 5 with a clinical win over the visiting Echunga Demons at ABLE Storage Oval on Saturday. The final score 10.9 (69) to the visitors 1.10 (16). Pictured here are a very determined looking James Hughes (left) and Ben Pomery (Right) double teaming Echunga Captain and former Crows SANFL Captain Luke “Duck” Carey. The Roos now have a bye and then face Torrens Valley at Mt Pleasant in a fortnight. More Roos action images from all grades to follow early this week. Stay tuned.

Simon Nunan lays a tackle on Mt Lofty stalwart Mark “Buckets” Neilsen. Sam Scott and Mitch Murphy (rear) looks on as central umpire Trevor MacDonald is set to tumble. The Roos lost the match at Heathfield oval, 8.10 (58) to the home side 9.10 (64). With this weeks’ opponent the visiting Echunga defeating Onkas, the Roos have tumbled to 6th on the ladder and Echunga go to 5th.  It’ll be all on the line this Saturday at ABLE Storage Oval.

MAC Medal

Roos Ruckman Luke GILES was awarded the MAC (Motor Accident Commission) Medal last Saturday against Hahndorf. Presenting the medal are Rossdale Homes representatives, Brooke Parker and Tiffany Hall.

Pies Humble Roos

Mt Barkers’ Henry Pope takes a great mark over Hahndorf player Joshua Young at ABLE Storage Oval. With a few key players missing from the line up, the young Roos were competitive until half time. The visiting Magpies steam-rolled the hosts in the second half to run out winners, 14.15 (99) to the Roos 3.5 (23)
