Be at Mount Torrens Oval this Saturday (18 June) when the Mount Barker Roos take on the Torrens Valley Lions. Mini colts commence at 8:45 a.m. The “A” grade commences at 2:30 p.m. A MUST Win game for the senior Roos as they sit in 6th place and they take on the Lions who are currently 3rd. The Roos defeated the Lions in the first round by 6 points.

Mount Barker Football club President Malcolm Williams dream of a Regional Sports Hub on the Stephenson land is a step closer after a flying visit from Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull. Also pictured is local Federal Member, Jamie Briggs. Mr Briggs emphasized that a re-elected Government would provide a substantial grant of 3.75 million dollars towards a function centre and clubrooms being the cornerstone of an important AFL development.
