The Mount Barker Football Club has received word that the council has committed for the new lighting upgrade of the Oval. Thanks to Cummo and all others involved. There will be a delay while a Development Plan is submitted and it goes out for Public Consultation and the equipment is order. Hopefully we will have the new lights around the start of the season or just after. # Go You Roos
One of the Roos favourite sons; Clint Rogers is set to coach the Roos Reserve grade side in 2016. A triple Premiership player with the Roos in 2000, 2003-4; Clint brings a wealth of experience to the Mount Barker Football Club. As well as the current stock of senior players, Rogers is buoyed by the challenge of preparing the newly promoted Senior Colts from the 2015 squad and help develop them into senior footballers.
