Tigers Tank Roos

Mike A-Z, Baust, K Wills, Bell

Roos wingman Mike Andruskiewicz (A-Z) feels the full force of Tigers Trevor Baust’s tackle. After a dominant first half, the Roos blew a 4 goal lead to go down to the Lobethal Tigers 4 goals 11 behinds to 7 goals 8.

Congrats Thomas GRIGGS on his first senior game for the Roos.

A grade debutant Thomas GRIGGS gets a handball away. Along with Samuel Scott, Samuel Callins and Ethan Bell; another of Noon’s up and coming star senior colts, being exposed to senior footy.

Roos Tamed

Second Gamer, Samuel CALLINS about to sink the boot into the footy. Unfortunately a free was awarded against CALLINS for kicking in danger as his Lions opponent was deemed to have his hand near enough to the football at this contest. The Roos lost this match 15. 7 to the Torrens Valley Lions 23.12 A poor second quarter where the Roos conceded 9 goals effectively cost them the game.

Congratulations to Tom HUGHES on 100 Senior Games.

Roos “Ironed” Out

The Ironbank Thunderers came to Roo Park and proved too strong running out victors 13 goals 6 to 8 goals 12. Here Stuart HILL punches the ball away from Ironbank Chris Scheider. Jack Lores has found himself the meat in the sandwich.

Big Top

The Lennons Bros Circus “Big Top” made for an interesting back-drop during the game.

Congrats to Samuel CALLINS from the Senior Colts and Jed FIORAVANTI recruited from Gepps Cross on their debuts for the Senior Roos.

Block ‘n Tackle

Telford, Block, Hall

Roos Coach, Lucas Block looks like he’s joined a “Conga” Line; however; Blocky was instrumental in the third quarter in getting the Roos back on track. Block is pictured laying an important tackle on the Devils Wade Hall, resulting in a free kick and Block was able to convert with a beautiful check-side goal. The Roos were looking down the barrel at 3 goals in arrears to play their best quarter of footy for the season and regain the momentum and run out victors by 7 points.

Congrats also to Tristan Glover and youngster Sam Scott making their senior debuts.

Roos Bound back

Tyson Scott, Brown

The scoreboard nearly says it all. The Roos chalked up their first victory for season 2015 against the winless Doggies 12 goals 11 to 10 goals 4. The Roos Tyson Scott puts everything into this kick as Onkas big man “Charlie Brown” appears to be willing the ball to miss the big sticks.
